A schedule of condition is an effective tool for mitigating your lease end liability. We undertake these for both Landlords and Tenants, usually immediately prior to commencement of a lease.
A schedule of condition is a ‘line in the sand’ recording the condition of a property at a particular moment in time. These assist both parties in understanding their respective repairing obligations at lease expiry. The schedule of condition should always be appended to and referenced in your lease in order to provide adequate protection.
